Sketch Challenge 700 (700!) Is Here — Play Along for Your Chance to Win $25 in MFT Cash!

Welcome to another Weekly Sketch Challenge!

Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $25 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.

Below you’ll find Sketch 700. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.

MFT products are encouraged but not required. We just want to see what this week’s sketch inspires you to create! You can enter your cards for this week’s challenge in the Inlinkz Link Up at the bottom of this post.

Let's take a look at some WSC700 inspiration!

Eye-popping polka dots are the perfect foil to Caitlin's expertly colored Hula Hippo. The circle element on the sketch almost reads as a vibrant setting sun behind the star of the show. Her use of the A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX provides a neat finishing touch.

Lee's pretty twist in using the Stitched Pinking Edge Circle STAX to back her Peeking Pals adds a little extra interest and a complement to the stitching provided by the double mats created with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 and Blueprints 29. Using a paper base, this one pulled from the Diagonal Gingham Paper Pad, is a quick and easy method of integrating color and pattern.

Why not invert a sketch element, creating a cutaway shape from your card panel instead? Deborah used the A2 Stitched Circle STAX and the Rainbow Plaid Paper Pad to craft a quick and easy frame for her Girls' Night In companions. The paper she chose provided a great jumping off point for her color choices as well!

The Game Controller die set and Level Up stamp set was *made* to complement the Game On! set from Jenoblade as evidenced by Kimberly's fun card. Adding a wonky edge to her spotlight circle reinforces the playful feel of her project perfectly!
