Welcome to another Weekly Sketch Challenge!
Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $50 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.
Below you’ll find Sketch 516. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.
MFT products are encouraged but not required. We just want to see what this week’s sketch inspires you to create! You can enter your cards for this week’s challenge in the Inlinkz Link Up at the bottom of this post.
We're welcoming Dana back to the blog today with her take on this week's sketch.
Anna used the elements from this week's sketch to inspire her woodland scene, complete with snow hills, birch trees and a duo of adorable characters. The addition of the blue and white patterned paper adds a winter feel to her design and nicely complements her scene.
Rachel kept her design very similar to this week's sketch with a monochromatic color palette inspired by the frosty days of the season. Gorgeous coloring on her stamped images keeps them the focus of the card, while the ink splattered background provides an eye-catching backdrop for her scene.
Rich colors and and an autumn inspired tree are a perfect pair for Dana's gorgeous card. The addition of the red and green accents coordinate with her stamped image perfectly, adding a cohesive look to her design.
Congratulations, Jess! You are the randomly selected winner from last week's sketch challenge.
