Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 510
Welcome to another Weekly Sketch Challenge!
Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $50 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.
Below you’ll find Sketch 510. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.
MFT products are encouraged but not required. We just want to see what this week’s sketch inspires you to create! You can enter your cards for this week’s challenge in the Inlinkz Link Up at the bottom of this post.
We're welcoming a brand new guest designer to the challenge blog this month. Join us in extending a warm hello to Lisa Tilson!
Lisa kept her design very similar to this week's sketch and created a gorgeous winter scene both on the ground and in the sky. An ink blended background adds a gorgeous mix of colors to her design that complements her characters beautifully.
Rachel got creative with the sketch layout, turning it in its side and replacing the rectangle strips with her trio of frosty critters. A simple stamped sentiment directly on her scene adds a heartfelt greeting that coordinates perfectly with her icy scene.
Laura created a fun and playful design for this week's sketch, using the rectangle strips as inspiration for her wooden planks holding up her adorable gnome. The addition of the stamped accents adds a visual triangle around her main image, making him the focus on the card.
Congratulations, Kelly! You are the randomly selected winner from last week's sketch challenge.
You can view all the entries for last week’s challenge HERE.
Now, it’s your turn. You have until October 13 at noon EDT to add your link and be eligible for the prize of $50 in MFT Cash to be spent in the MFT boutique. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!
