Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 498

Welcome to another Weekly Sketch Challenge!

Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $50 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.

Below you’ll find Sketch 498. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.

We're welcoming Ashley back to the blog today with her take on this week's sketch.

Ashley used the layered circle elements from this week's sketch to create a backdrop for her a-roar-able dinosaur character. The addition of foam adhesive between each layer adds depth and dimension, while the embossed sentiment adds a fun and playful greeting to her finished design.

Anna featured a single circle element on her design with patterned paper to add interest and detail to her card. The soft color palette allowed her to layer her main image over the top, while still keeping it the focus of the card. A simple stamped sentiment completes her design and helps to ground her fun-loving monkey.

Nicole went with a clean and simple design and used the Radiating Rays stencil to create the circle element on her card. A stamped rainbow adds a fun and playful look while the sentiment nicely coordinates with her scene.
