Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 490
Welcome to another Weekly Sketch Challenge!
Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $50 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.
Below you’ll find Sketch 490. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.
MFT products are encouraged but not required. We just want to see what this week’s sketch inspires you to create! You can enter your cards for this week’s challenge in the Inlinkz Link Up at the bottom of this post.
We're welcoming Rhian back to the blog today with her take on this week's sketch.
With some ink blending and a little masking, Marieke was able to create a large moon element on her card design that coordinates perfectly with her stamped sentiment. Large die cut words layered over her background completes her greeting while the addition of white paint splatters emphasizes the night sky.
Anna used a soft color palette and a clean and simple layout for her card design this week. A layer of patterned paper adds subtle detail that nicely complements her scene.
Rhian also featured a soft color palette on her design and added the heart element from this week's sketch as a backdrop for her beautiful bouquet. A simple dry embossed frame and clear droplets are the perfect addition to her sweet card.
Congratulations, Rita! You are the randomly selected winner of last week’s sketch challenge.
You can view all the entries for last week’s challenge HERE.
Now, it’s your turn. You have until May 26 at noon EDT to add your link and be eligible for the prize of $50 in MFT Cash to be spent in the MFT boutique. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!

I guess I’m not alone … I’ve been trying to link on since yesterday … with no luck! Using the exact same method that I always use. Maybe it’s an InLinz issue because I couldn’t link onto SSS either. ☹️
I don’t know if anyone else is having trouble linking entries through Inlinkz or not, but I’ve been trying for 2 days to post my entry with no luck. It is unclear to me whether it’s an Inlinkz issue or on MFT’s site.
I’m trying to upload from Instagram the same way I always do…
A fabulous sketch and super inspiration xx
Congratulations Rita on winning the sketch challenge!!
