Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 463

Welcome to another Weekly Sketch Challenge!

Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $50 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.

Below you’ll find Sketch 463. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.

MFT products are encouraged but not required. We just want to see what this week’s sketch inspires you to create! You can enter your cards for this week’s challenge in the Inlinkz Link Up at the bottom of this post.

We're welcoming Cassie back to the blog today with her take on this week's sketch.

This week's sketch design is definitely reminiscent of a Christmas ornament and each of the designers created a festive bauble on their cards. Cassie created a scene in her ornament featuring the Snow Buddies stamp set and she used soft, earthy colors to give it a vintage feel. The Mod Link Die-namics is a perfect option for the ornament string and it completes her design nicely.

Caly created a bright, colorful card by ink blending a stunning shade of blue on her background before adhering her pawsitively cute ornament over top. Lighter ink blending in the center, along with foam adhesive, really makes her ornament stand out on her card, while the added ribbon adds texture and dimension to her finished design.

Joy kept her main card design very simple with a tone-on-tone white background surrounding her ornament. The pink and purple ink blending for the sky provides a beautiful backdrop for her Bethlehem scene with a heartfelt sentiment stamped below.
