Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 445
Welcome to another Weekly Sketch Challenge!
Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $50 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.
Below you’ll find Sketch 445. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.
MFT products are encouraged but not required. We just want to see what this week’s sketch inspires you to create! You can enter your cards for this week’s challenge in the Inlinkz Link Up at the bottom of this post.
We're welcoming Marieke back to the blog today with her take on this week's sketch.
A swimming pool set in the middle of a tropical beach is the perfect way to spend lazy summer days. Marieke created her inviting scene and creatively placed her adorable critters in a layout similar to the sketch. A black sentiment strip completes her design and adds a nice pop of contrast against all of the gorgeous colors.
Donna went under the sea for her scene and used the sketch as inspiration for the design of her underwater sea creatures. An ink blending background is the perfect choice for a stunning ocean backdrop while the white embossing on stamped images really makes them stand out.
A bundle of baby clothes, each displayed in their own circular element is a great way to utilize the sketch to create a bold design. The mix of blues and greens adds a cohesive look to Debbie's card, with the adorable hangers adding a realistic look to this sweet baby-themed design.
Congratulations, Cindy! You are the randomly selected winner of last week’s sketch challenge.
