We know you've adapted to some new norms these past few months — who could have predicted the changes that would take place since this time last year! You're doing great though, and so are the range of people we interact with (often via Zoom!) regularly. This month in her Create in Color video, Sandy is celebrating the {joy} that is virtual learning with the new Virtually the Best stamp set from Birdie Brown. Once you've learned more about her process, make sure you get to the end of today's post for some fun news about an event happening TONIGHT. Hope to see you there!

Hello coloring friends! It’s Sandy Allnock, and today I have a card that, well, you might not want to color. Ha! You might, of course, but you also might like to use my template, stamp it up, and give it to your kids to color for their distance learning teacher!

In these crazy times we’re in, it’s important to tell people how we feel, and a custom card for a hard working teacher trying to teach while also trying to produce compelling video...holy cow would that make them feel special!

Download my template HERE.

Print one up and stamp it with their teacher in the “big” box! I know this isn’t how Zoom really appears, but I wanted to have plenty of room to make the teacher the STAR! The background can be easy — a big grey rectangle, with a wall and lessons on the board!

Then fill the small squares with the kiddos, you can make them look like your child and their friends too! Stamp it with a light ink and you can adjust hairstyles to make them custom too.

And of course I used way more markers than people really need to ever use on one card — ha! But it was fun to create all those tiny rooms for each kiddo. Simple shapes, we all know what they are, so don't stress over them, just sketch them in!

Last month we had a fun Facebook Live coloring adventure (see the video HERE), and it was SO much fun we thought we would do it again! Here’s a sneak peek of the card, and you can download the image now in preparation for joining us tonight, October 9 at 8 PM EDT on the MFT Facebook channel — hope to see you there!
