Ready? Set. Sketch!
Every week as I'm going through all of the different challenge cards to post them, I am blown away. It seems each week they are better than the last! Is it just me? I don't think so.
Last weeks winner is tinytreasureworkshop and she's won a whopping $25 gift card to MFT! Jill, email me at hello@mftstamps.com and I'll send over your voucher.
Our challenge this week is this killer sketch.
This sketch is awesome! And wait until you see what the Designers did with it. Um, Julie understood the assignment. This card is gorgeous! I love the little inlet she created.
Rebecca's baby clothesline is ADORABLE!! I love how some pieces have a different texture. That makes things look so much richer. Another thing that she's done which is not often thought about but perfects any card design, and that's having items that run off the sides of the paper and then trimmed off to size. It gives the illusion that the design continues rather than stopping at the edge of the paper.
Jeanne used this cute pair and created an outside scene. I love that she stayed with colors you'd use for an outside scene because even though they are in blocks, you can still identify them with being outside. Like the blue background, the yellow strip, etc.
This card is perfect. The way Zoe created movement of water with the stencil is genius! Of course the otters are adorable, that's a given. To me this is an example of a masterclass in clean and simple.
Oh, Deborah. Every card she makes is truly phenomenal, and this is no exception. Even though she's using quite a color shifts in her blocks, she's designed around it so that it is completely on purpose.
This card rocks! Candice did a fabulous job on this! The colors and the graphic background she chose is just perfect. She also made perfect use of her whitespace. Truly amazing!
Make sure you are following all of our designers each week. It's more than worth it. ;-)
I'm positive you have some ideas cooking, so get busy, and make sure to link them below using Inlinkz, and then have a GREAT rest of your week!
