Today's February release spotlight shines the light on the art of Alberto Gava. His coloring is aspirational. Let's take a closer look at some of his designs this month.

It's always fun to get a glimpse into Alberto's coloring process. Here we get to see his color choices for the clouds underneath the sweet bunnies from Happiness Comes in Very Small Packages. Next time you're coloring something blue, consider giving these blending combinations a try!

Next, a pile of delicious sweets from the Birthday Bites set. Notice how Alberto uses white space as well as shadows to really give his coloring depth and dimension.

Another great tip to add more versatility to your products is to use masking, to change up the look or layout of the stamps in your set. With Greatest Present, you may choose to use all of the elements separately, but with masking you can create a gigantic pile of gifts!

When creating with Monkey Around, Alberto chose to create sweet little shakers to display his beautifully colored monkeys. Stitched Square Frames Die-namics and Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX Die-namics are the perfect building blocks for the shakers.

Let's just take a moment to have another look at these adorable Big Screen Scenes!

And last but certainly not least, this incredibly clever scene achieved by combining the little cow from You Make Moo So Happy with the space ship and landing spot stamps from Monster Love. The message is from another stamp set from this release, Headed for the Stars. How perfect is that? 🙂

Oh my Alberto. The Aliens taking that sweet little cow is absolutely adorable. I hope he will be ok. I also love the little Pixar guys on your desk.
