Get into the groove of creating gift card presentations worth getting excited about with this month’s challenge. Whether gifted in the form of a card or small box, the presentation of a gift card doesn’t have to be boring and our team is ready, willing, and able to inspire your next project. From specially designed Die-namics perfect for creating slots and grooves in your cards to 3 dimensional designs that will delight the recipient, you’ll find a bit of everything in this collection of inspired designs.
Keisha took the challenge title quite literally employing the Gift Card Groove Die-namics in creating her modern take on gift card presentation. Neutral tones with pops of color brought in by the Field Day and Razzle Berry accents provide a beautiful base for that ubiquitous gift card red (she hit the bullseye with this one!)
Barbara’s showcasing a pocket full of treasures on her cheery look. The Gift Card Pocket Die-namics is designed to perfectly house a thoughtful gift. Barbara’s card is spiced up by the addition of patterned paper and accents from the Hip Clips Die-namics.
Our talented team has even more inspiration for you so click on through to each of their blogs to see how they’ve worked their magic on gift presentation. Come sail away with the MFT crew this month as they demonstrate their nautical prowess. Cards and projects featuring a decidedly water-oriented look are the theme of this month’s Creative Challenge. Peer into the porthole of creativity as we explore all of the stamps, Die-namics, and stencils that will have you yearning for an exciting day at sea or a relaxing day spent lounging at the shore.
Kay used the Stitched Scallop Edges Die-namics to create her layers of sea-worthy waves. Her creative use of the porthole from the Let’s Get Nautical Die-namics frames her sweet penguin focal point perfectly while the addition of the wheel element introduces the perfect pop of color.
Karolyn created a gorgeous ombre sunset to back her silhouetted sailboat. I love how the Making Waves Die-namics includes waves in both directions and two size options – layering them really adds movement and dimension to the finished look!
Our talented team has even more inspiration for you so click on through to each of their blogs to see how they managed to keep their sea legs in these choppy challenge waters.

Our team has accepted the challenge to explore all of the wild and wonderful ways MFT products can be used to craft eye-catching backgrounds that demand attention and enhance your cards in the most wonderful way.

Stencils may not get the same recognition as stamps and dies but believe me, they simply can’t be beat in terms of versatility. Their flexibility and durability make them the perfect choice for adding color and texture with any number of mediums and with more than 70 different options in two different sizes available in the MFT shop, you’re sure to find the perfect design for your next project. This month, our team is inspiring you to play with stencils.
Barbara has applied embossing paste with the Harlequin Stencil to create her subtle, textural background. It creates the perfect balance to the cluster of vivid stamped and die-cut layers that accent her sentiment strip. Barbara is kind of a master when it comes to using MFT stencils in creative ways. She’s created a fantastic video that demonstrates eight different ways of using stencils to create background panels for your cards. You can watch it by clicking HERE or simply play below.

Amy’s card is all about the bunny featuring a monochromatic repeating pattern she created with one of the designs included in the Somebunny stamp set. The Stitched Speech Bubble Edges Die-namics, positioned at a jaunty angle, is the perfect spot for a simple sentiment.

Now, onto the challenge!
Card makers are a pretty sentimental bunch overall and we think that is a great thing. We spend our time showing family and friends (and sometimes strangers!) that we care deeply for them. This month, we’ve challenged our team to embrace this season of love full-force by creating projects that feature love in the most literally way: with lots of hearts. Any color, any material – hearts will stand strong as a dominant design element that simply can’t be missed.
Kimberly dyed hemp cord to create this stringed delight. The Stitchable Heart STAX Die-namics is the perfect choice for a look like this – the holes are already included for easy placement of your brads and cord!

For many of us, this is the time of year we crave warmth, comfort, and coziness. What better material to feature with this month’s challenge than felt? Our line of MFT felt coordinates with all of the colors in our extensive Replenishments line so crafting projects with a beautiful complement of papers, buttons, inks, and ribbons is a piece of cake. Make no mistake though, felt will be the star of the show in this collection of inspiring projects!
Michele crafted this absolutely stunning device case. Beautiful, functional, and an incredibly cool gift idea. Think about all of the ways you can take a basic shape and embellish it with a whole host of cool die-cut felt shapes.

We’re quickly approaching a season that is chock-full of opportunities for creating cards, tags, treat boxes, and home decor. With such an amazing array of crafting possibilities, we thought it only right to open things up and encourage our team to go wild exploring all of the holiday crafting their imaginations can fathom.
Amy always has something special up her sleeve. This month, she’s sharing an amazing card duo and beautifully simple decor project. Black Licorice, Primitive White, gold, and just a hint of Razzle Berry marry classic and trendy in the most delightful way.

Our line of Die-namics cuts such a wide variety of materials. This month, we’ve asked the team to put them to use with the cork sheets we offer in the boutique to craft cards and projects you’ll want to stick a pin in as inspiration you’ll return to over and over.
Michele’s leafy quartet features autumnally-hued leaves inlaid into a corky grid design. Captivating colors capture all of the stages of the gradual fall change and contrast beautifully with the textural cork. A neat mix of a die-cut word with a stamped phrase form a perfect, succinct sentiment.
